Adrian Reif joined the South Madison Farmer's Markets as well as others this year (2010) with his Yum Butters.  started making peanut butter in his friend's kitchen.

Born in Wisconsin, grew up in southern indiana and tennessee worked for large corporation for a lttle while. Got tired of taht and didn't want to go into work everyday. so I dropped out of that andstarted doing some evnironmental strategy consulting, helping large companies become more evnironmentally friendly. Previously was training to be a financial advisor for .

Started doing consulting more about what he wanted to do. Went over to talk English in Asia for 4 months beginning of 2009 andt revelled for 7 months after that.

Started making peanut butters in my kitchen two years ago and then a friend of mine and I threw chocolate chips in them and said this is good. And we kind of went crazy after that and said what else can we put in here and what else will make it yummy to eat.

I came up with Asian Jazz while I was travelling in China.
Found his love for spices while he spent time in China and became familiar with the food there and the spices that people use.

Got a shared use kitchen.

Liabilities. BAsic sanitary methods. making sure to waer gloves througout the process. Because I;m not using any food with a high acid content this is peanut oil is pretty stable by itself.

Alot of the local coops and grocery stores. I don't know if I want . The niche markets and eventually I would like to put in single use packets that you can use while you are hiking backpacking, climbing, bicycling. So I take peanut butter with me wherever I go.

The tubs are bought locally and I took a photoshop class at the Union and worked on the labels and logo
